The SCCU continued to amend the competition structure, and one change which affected Hampshire was that Berkshire replaced Sussex in their section this year. Hampshire played their last match of the Chiltern League season yesterday, at home against a much depleted Buckinghamshire team who could only raise 12 players. Hampshire won by 12.5-3.5, including 4 default wins (matches to be played over at least 16 boards).
The Hampshire team welcomed two new players, Paul Janota and Stephen O’Toole, who both won their games, as did Daniel Shek, Fraser McLeod, Matthew Deacon and Jamie Chilton.
