Obituaries for Hampshire Chess Players
From the Westward Ho! newsletter from January 1988 the obituary of George William Kilmister MBE was published which I have repeated below. George Kilmister produced the Hampshire Bulletin, Westward Ho! and SCCU Bulletins as well as being an Chess official for Hampshire and Dorset. He played for Hampshire approx. 20 times from 1960 to 1972.

A number of obituaries which were included on the original Hampshire Chess Association website are being added to the website. Pat McEvoy of Victory Chess Club has informed me of the death of Terry Hollington on the 22 October 2002.
A number of obituaries which were included on the original Hampshire Chess Association website are being added to the website. an Richmond died at the end of July 2007 aged 91. He has been in Hospital for some time.
