Hampshire played in the Chiltern League Open County matches and under 150 ECF graded leagues this season, with six matches in each given most players the opportunity to play County Chess.

Chiltern County Chess Matches 2019 / 20
Hampshire played four Chiltern League Open County matches and five under 150 ECF graded ones in the season. Full details on the Chiltern League Website. The league was cut short by the close down of activities due to the pandemic.
WECU Online County Chess Matches 2021
With the pandemic position in 2021 no West of England County chess competition was held but for the first time an online variety was held. In the past there have been friendly telephone matches between counties and in the 1970’s with the petrol rationing there were discussions in the WECU for County matches to also to be held by telephone.
