Hampshire played four matches this season, with the three SCCU ones and resumption of the annual match against Wiltshire. In 1895 a Hampshire Trophy (renamed Division One later) League was held with one team from Portsmouth, two from Southampton and one each from Andover and Gosport in a knockout format. Portsmouth were the first winners. In 1912 a Hampshire League (renamed Division Two) was added and Andover were the first winners.
