Hampshire Individual – Chess Games

The Hampshire Individual Chess Championship has been held since 1930, originally as a small tournament with just the club champions being able to enter. Later this was expanded to any Hampshire player being able to enter and then to a congress with the championship incorporated. Games from the more recent congresses were input by Arthur Brameld and more recently me.

Older championship games have been obtained from Newspapers and the Hampshire bulletins. I hope to add games as more are made available and if you have any games please do supply.

Playable Games

I am not sure if this will be the final solution to play through the games, but for now this can be done through this Chessbase file.

Use the arrow in the game score to move to the game selection.
